What happens if there is a problem with my fingerprint?

The launch of Touch ID: to allow customers to access the app, we have become the first South African bank to make use of biometric fingerprint access.

However, certain individuals working with their hands in labour-intensive industries find that their fingerprints get easily damaged. Elderly people often find that their fingerprints start to fade. In fact, any form of cuts, burns, scars and other accidents can affect or destroy our fingerprints.

If your fingerprint stops working, you can simply revert to using the password to access the app. You can also try re-registering your fingerprint from within Apple’s Touch ID service.
