Author takes on new role in South / Central Region

Nkiru Olude ojo .jpgNkiru Olumide-Ojo recently took on a new role as Regional Head Marketing and Communication in the South/Central Region. Nkiru was previously the country head of Head of Marketing and Communication in Nigeria and will be relocating with her family to South Africa to take on duties in her new role.

 

She has been on Standard Bank’s succession and talent management plan for regional head roles for some time and her appointment is evidence of her dedication and the rigour and of the bank’s talent management processes.

 

Ms Olumide-Ojo has almost two decades of experience in marketing and communication and has looked after multinational and national brands in Nigeria and other West African markets. She has led teams to develop various award-winning brand and marketing campaigns. Her work experience spans across various industries including aviation, telecommunication, oil and gas sectors and financial services.

 

Nkiru not only excels in her career but also finds time to pursue her other passions with the same excellence. She loves writing and recently became a published author of “The Pressure Cooker – Lessons from a Woman at Work”. She is also the co-founder of the LightHouse Women’s Network, a female social development organisation.
