There has been an overwhelming call from customers for innovation from service providers and we’ve heard their call. The PathFinders Challenge is a platform for disruptors to provide innovative solutions for the customer of the future. This is a platform where disruptors submit new concepts on how the banking and the financial services industry can best service the customer of the future.
The Pathfinders Challenge is the brainchild our Innovation team who see the Pathfinders Challenge as an open collective of design thinkers, technologists, futurists, and spirited innovators who have been tasked with shedding a guiding light over the customer of the future. Internally, we are already driving new concepts from ideation through prototyping into development and we are now inviting the public to join this process by presenting their ideas to our teams and then developing it with input and support from Standard Bank Group at our Innovation Lab in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
This challenge is open to all countries ranging from the SADC region, the rest of the African Continent and even the globe. Innovation shouldn’t be limited to one category of people or country. Winners stand a chance of winning a share of over R500 000 in cash prizes and additional development support to commercialise and scale their ideas.
