EFT clearance time

Can someone please tell me how a payment from Standard bank to Standard bank takes 24 hours??? I received an eft from a STD bank account to mine about 2 day’s ago. When it didn’t clear that day, I called and the consultant said if this is the first time I’m receiving an eft from this specific person’s STD bank account, it will take 24hrs but the next time the same person does an EFT to my account, it will show immediately. Well guess what I’ve received another payment form the same client this morning and still no money in my account! I’m so close to closing this account! After my account has been blocked not so long ago coz “apparently” The didn’t have my FICA
