EFTs from Standard Bank to Standard Bank take 0–24 hours. 

 

EFTs to other banks take 2–3 working days. 

 

Both may be delayed when processed over the weekend or on a public holiday.

Hi same here.. I can't understand how standard bank to standard bank takes long whereas it should be immediate! I received a payment Thursday and still waiting for it to be cleared. So many people complaining by what I read but nothing changing I'm definitely considering changing banks

How so when it is standard bank to standard bank, like really! no wonder why you are losing customers. You are not technologically compliant. Even today I am experiencing the same issue. Standard bank to standard bank I have not received funds. This is so pathetic to say the least!

its So boring that the stdbnk EFT takes 24hrs while sum1 its waitting for money  as the had to take a child to hospital..they need to up thier game

Good question indeed. Standard Bank are proving to be so useless. Imagine even now my funds transferred from another Standard Bank account haven't reflected 18hrs later. Shame on this bank
