  • Open the Standard Bank App and sign in.
  • Click transact, then send and manage vouchers.

If the voucher was created by someone else, please have them follow the steps outlined above to change it or view the pin for you.

 

If you received the voucher from a betting company, please contact our instant money team at 0860 466 639.

Could you kindly advise, I wanted to claim instant money and I was asked to provide security exception. How do I pass this stage that requires security exception.

Good Morning,

 

After sending funds using Standard Bank's Instant money, it may become for one reason or the other that you may need to cancel the same transaction. Below are the steps you are to follow to go about cancelling the transaction. Only note the the R9.99 service fee charged is never refundable together with the sent sum :(

 

  1. Log into your Internet Banking account
  2. Place your cursor on 'Payments'
  3. Move it to and click on ''Instant Money'
  4. Select 'Cancel Instant Money transaction' and click Next
  5. Select the transaction you intend to cancel by clicking on the radio button on the left of the transaction(s) and click Next
  6. Enter the OTP you receive on your phone/email and click Next
  7. Enter the Cash Collection Pin you had used for the transaction and click Next
  8. Review everything and click 'Confirm' to complete the cancellation - you will get a cancellation successful notice on the page that follows.

Hi,

 

You can either wait 24hours for the it to unblock, or you can cancel it and you create a new voucher.

I misplaced my bank card so I sent myself money via instant money when I got to the Atm after inserting the pin and voucher number the Atm just froze. I cancelled and tried again 3 times then called the standard bank number on the atm but no one could help me. When I left the atm I gave a response that Sorry Atm temporarily out of service.My fear was to leave the Atm then my money comes out because the pin and voucher number was inserted already.please help me cancel that voucher
