On recommendation from a standard bank (branch) consultant I deleted the standard bank app before resetting my internet banking log-in detail at a branch. The consultant indicated that this would avoid any potential log-in conflicts. After resetting my passwords and reregistering for Internet banking I tried to download the standard bank app on my iPhone. the phone recognizes that I previously had the app however, when I touch the blue cloud with the arrow to reinstal it, it only shows the circle which indicates that it's going to download and then goes back to the blue cloud icon. I logged a call with the standard bank call centre a week ago but haven't heard back from them. It's rather frustrating and now inconvenient not being able to download or use the app.
I now realize how convenient banking has been with the app.
