I bought prepaid electricy token for R500. The sms arrived with a R700 rand token and rejected it. I bought a new token for R500 with a completely different number and was accepted. I learned that Standard Bank doesn't refund you for such a mistake from their side. How corrupt is that

The standard bank prepaid purchase app is so fustrating. I have been trying to buy air time and electricity multiple times wherein all the transactions were successful but did not receive messages with the voucher info.
Why is this happening? Is there a way to cancel the transactions as I've done multiple transactions with the hope of getting a voucher and airtime. My call got cut off when trying to call customer care hence i can't even call back cos I can't buy airtime.
