Hi,

thanks the IOS 10 app update has working for the normal banking app on the iPad, however the Online Trading app also has the same crashing issue. When is this going to be sorted out?

Ver 1.9.0 of rhe tablet app is now available in the App Store. This update fixes the iOS 10 compatibility issues. The update should be available to you soon. It does take a while to propograte through the App store system

The new version of the tablet app has now been submitted to Apple for review. It can take up to 2 weeks for Apple to review and approve the release of the app. Current review turnaround time is reported to be about 2 days though.

We have made the necessary changes to fix the iOS 10 related crashes on tablet. We will be submitting the app to Apple for review sometime early next week after we have completed our final round of quality assurance.

Hi,

Development is still in progress. An update will be posted on community once resolved.

Any progress? It takes too long to fix!

Thanks for the update!

Standard Bank were very quick to update the iPhone App straight after the iOS10 upgrade so I'm sure thier developers were aware there were changes required to enable the App to work on the iPad. Surely they should have realized they needed to do changes to the iPad App as well!

Waiting in bated anticipation...............

The devs are actively working to resolve the compatibility issues being experienced when using the tablet version of the app on iOS 10. We hope to have a fix out soon. Please bear with us as it does take some time to get through Standard Bank's and Apple's QA processes.

Thanks for the instruction on how to enable Crash Reporting! I've let the App crash a few times, let's hope they sort this out quickly! Most aggravating, a bit concerning how long it is taking them to fix this!

When I phoned the Help Desk to report this issue I was told that they take longer to fix the tablet apps as most people use the phone app, go figure!

Hi paulathenry

Do the following to enable crash reporting on iOS 10 (Tablet):

  1. Open Settings (OS Settings)
  2. Select the "Privacy" option
  3. Select the "Diagnostics & Usage" option under "Privacy"
  4. Read Apple's note about diagnostics and privacy.

If you are still happy to enable crash reporting continue with the following steps

  1. Select the "Automatically Send" option to enable crash report uploading
  2. Enable the "Share With App Developers" option

Note: As Apple mentions in their disclaimer; none of the information uploaded identifies you personally.

The devs are checking the crash reports to try and determine the root cause of the issue. Please ensure that crash reporting is enabled on your device as this will assist with troubleshooting.
