So perhaps the right question to be asking is why the general passivity of investors - for example around issues of communication? Or the passivity around who is on a board - or how many boards the person is on?
Steinhoff springs to mind as regards the last point. Then the auditors - enuf said!

Which I applaud. Its always a step in the right direction. Shareholders should be supportive , questioning and therefore not passive. "Trust but verify".
Sounds like a good approach to me?
