Since the launch of our rewards programme UCount in 2013, members have been able to take advantage of numerous benefits, including getting R1 back in rewards points for every litre of fuel purchased at participating Caltex forecourts. In less than six months, members have collected rewards on over 37 million litres of fuel! Due to its popularity the offer (initially set to end 31 December 2013) it was extended to 15 January 2014.
But don’t worry, you will still be able to collect point for the remainder of the year and here’s how: from 16 January 2014 until 15 July 2014, UCount members will collect a different amount of rewards points for fuel purchases at Caltex forecourts, depending on the tier that they are on in the program. Remember, your tier depends on your monthly banking activity and the number of Standard Bank products and services you use. Depending on your current tier, you will collect the following rewards points every time you fuel up at participating Caltex forecourts with effect from 16 January 2014:
Tier 1 – collects 25c* per litre
Tier 2 – collects 50c* per litre
Tier 3 – collects 75c* per litre
Tier 4 – collects R1* per litre.

Collecting rewards points on our fuel purchases at Caltex is limited to 20% of your total qualifying monthly card spend. This means that we will add all purchases made on your Standard Bank cards together each month except for non-Caltex fuel, toll and casino purchases. Fuel Purchases exceeding 20% of your total qualifying monthly spend will not qualify for the up to R1* per litre of fuel purchased at participating Caltex forecourts.
