As we know, over the past few weeks the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has impacted livelihoods and increased health and safety risks of all citizens across the globe. We want to assure you that we have implemented business continuity plans at Standard Bank – with enhanced support and safety measures to assist you during this pandemic. While our branches (operating at reduced hours) and ATMs will remain open during the lock down, we encourage you, your family and your colleagues to stay safe – and be a part of the solution to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. One way you can do this is to take advantage of Standard Bank’s digital banking channels – to manage your banking needs from the comfort and safety of your home.

Get Peace of Mind with Enhanced Digital Banking Security Your safety is of critical importance to us, that’s why we’ve developed DigiME – a sophisticated new security feature available in the latest version of the Standard Bank App. This enhanced feature makes use of the latest biometric and facial recognition software, combined with multi-factor authentication to keep your digital services safe by strengthening the authentication processes.

 

This is achieved by using a combination of:

• Something you know: Your app code

• Something you are: Your fingerprint or facial biometric identification

• Something you have: Your smart device

 

How to Get DigiEM To get DigiME, all you need is your South African ID document/card and a Smartphone, Tablet or iPad – and the good news is that you complete the sign-up process online.

 

Follow these steps to ensure you have power over your digital banking profile:

  • Step 1: Download the latest version of our banking app and follow these easy steps to gain access to DigiME:
  • Step 2: Sign into your Standard Bank App and click on the “Profile” icon
  • Step 3: Click “Link and secure your profile”
  • Step 4: Click on the “Home” or “Work” button
  • Step 5: Capture your ID number
  • Step 6: Scan your ID document (ID Book, ID card, or Passport)
  • Step 7: Take a selfie. And, now you’re all set! 

Now, you can enjoy seamless and secure banking – anywhere, anytime!

I registered on the new app and linked my accounts but when I try the buy function it asks me to add my accounts again, when I di, it says my accounts,are already added?
