Get funeral cover the Standard Bank way
Super Contributor

Mrs P’s husband, a health fanatic, liked to walk to work, he only lived only a few minutes from his office. One day, while on his way to work, he was knocked over and killed by a speeding motorist, who subsequently fled the scene.

His wife was devastated at the news of her husband’s passing, like most traumatic ordeals, a number of concerns came to mind. One such thought was how she was going to give her husband the dignified funeral, he deserved.

So she sat down and called about the Standard Bank FuneralPlan, as she knew her husband had taken out this plan. With the our consultants’ help, Mr P’s body was safely transported to the Eastern Cape, with Mrs P kept abreast of all funeral arrangements.

When the case manager contacted Ms P to follow up on how she and the rest of her family were doing, she thanked him for his caring attitude and the great service she had received when she requested assistance.

With our FuneralPlan, you and your family have peace of mind knowing you are covered in the event of a death. But this is no ordinary funeral plan, it also offers benefits for you to enjoy while you are still alive. These include beneficial doctors’ visits, visits to the optometrist and shopping vouchers.

To apply, visit www.standardbank.co.za/sbibonline and register your details, the type of plan you want, list your beneficiaries and voila you have a plan. For more information about the Standard Bank funeral plan visit www.standardbank.co.za/funeralplan.
