New wheels for Hope Village
Super Contributor

As part of our initiative to make a positive impact and invest in the lives of Namibian children, Standard Bank Namibia and Liberty Life Namibia assured that Christmas came early this year for the children of Hope Village orphanage. Located in the informal settlement of Goreangab in Katutura, Hope Village is a welfare organization that houses close to 100 orphans and vulnerable children.

Our donation of a brand new 19-seater, Fiat Ducato Bus worth N$365 000 came as a welcomed relief seeing as their old bus was terribly worn out. The new bus will be used to transport an about 80 children each week to seven different schools around the capital.

The official handover was done by the Standard Bank Namibia’s Head of Marketing Thaddius Maswahu and the Managing Director of Liberty Life Namibia Christell Loots.
