As a financial services provider we always look to what our clients say to know whether or not we’re delivering on their expectations. But we also listen to our peers in the industry; and when they also say great things about Standard Bank Group we’re even more thrilled.
It is even more affirmative when they nominate us for industry awards. Standard Bank Group’s Wealth and Investment division added to other awards the group garned in 2015. In October Standard Bank Wealth and Investment picked up Private Banker International’s “Outstanding Global Private Bank – Africa” award at an event in Singapore attended by representatives of major banks and leading wealth management consultants from around the world.
When earlier the same month the winners of the Professional Adviser International Fund & Product Awards 2015 were revealed in London, we walked up to collect the award for Best International Structured Products Provider.
At the PWM The Banker Global Private Banking Awards 2015, Standard Bank Wealth and Investment was presented awards for “Best Private Bank” in both Kenya and South Africa.
Most of these award functions are aimed at bringing together financial professionals to celebrating the peers in the wealth management services.
The judging criteria vary but mostly look at the ability of institutions to demonstrate superior client service; and institutions that demonstrate their ability to meet the changing clients with global reach of their brands.
