Technical issues with accessing Standard Bank app

Standard Bank is aware that some customers have experienced difficulty accessing our banking app for smartphones. We apologise for the inconvenience, and we are working on resolving the issue as a matter of urgency. Customers are requested to make use of our online banking services through Internet Banking.

Standard Bank’s commitment to providing solutions that offer convenience and ease of use within a safe environment led to the ongoing development of mobile solutions such as the app for tablets, SnapScan, MasterPass, and more recently, the app for smartphones, which was launched on Monday, 11 August 2014.

We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with the app as part of our drive for collective collaboration – working with our customers to create solutions that truly meet their needs.
