Truck of Love brings the cheer this festive season
Standard Bank Team
Super Contributor

‘Tis the season for a little gift-giving and Standard Bank’s Truck of Love is ready to hit the streets of Gauteng again. For the first time this year the Truck of Love makes its way down to Cape Town to make more dreams come true.

Now in its third year, the Truck of Love is back and eager to be filled with things people need most in a bid to help those individuals or organisations already making a positive contribution to society.

The campaign is about helping people in need of a little helping hand. With the assistance of radio stations 947, 702, KFM and CapeTalk, Standard Bank’s Truck of Love, will be making meaningful changes in communities.

Standard Bank’s Truck of Love will be heading out with 947 afternoon drive host, Anele Mdoda, looking for selfless individuals doing great things for others. Various hosts from 702, KFM and CapeTalk will also visit numerous locations with the Truck of Love throughout the day with their respective shows.

Earlier this year charities like Ephraim Zulu Senior Centre, Yenzani Children’s Home, Bona Lesedi Project and Compass were nominated by listeners and received a variety of goods, gifts and essentials to charities.

These inspiring stories are testament to the many remarkable South Africans who genuinely care about those in need.

Look out for the Truck of Love from Monday 8 December to Friday 12 December. Nominations will run online for two weeks from 24 November to 5 December. Listen to 947 during the afternoon show with Anele or 702, KFM and CapeTalk all day to find out more.

Join us in sharing the love and use #TruckOfLove every time you spot the truck in and around town and remember to submit your nominations at:
