A heartfelt morning at Zonkisizwe

Today, 29 November 2013, the truck rolled in to Zonkisizwe Child Care Centre. The morning began with stocking the truck with boxes of presents, water tanks, mattresses, groceries for a year and seeds for the vegetable garden. The team, accompanied by Talk Radio 702 presenter, Udo Carelse and 94.7 Highveld Stereo presenter, Alex Caige, were excited to set off and deliver a little festive cheer to some 76 unsuspecting young children. There was a buzz of excitement amongst the entire team as the truck pulled in to the children’s home and a crowd of boys and girls gathered around.

The excitement on the children’s faces was something special to see. Their squeals of delight and joyful surprise filled the team’s hearts with such joy. Soccer balls and skateboards were a sure-fire hit with the boys! It was definitely a morning of fun, laughter and a truck full of love!

The wheels on the truck…

…will be rolling in to five more charities and organisations within the next two weeks! We’re excited! Join us in sharing the love too and use #TruckOfLove every time you spot the truck in and around town! And don’t forget to make your nominations too!
