Our UCount Rewards programme has been snapped up by many Standard Bank customers, eager to collect rewards points by simply using their Standard Bank personal debit, credit or cheque cards. If you’re one of them, you may be wondering how the point system works and when you can start collecting them. The answer is simple: you will collect points as soon as you’ve registered for the programme.
How you collect rewards pointsYou don’t need to wait for your UCount Rewards Card to arrive in the post before you start collecting rewards points. Your Rewards Card is only needed when you want to redeem your rewards points. Every time you use your Standard Bank personal debit, cheque or credit card you automatically collect rewards points - up to 10 % in rewards points on all your grocery purchases, up to 1.5% on all your other purchase and up to 5% from our Participating Rewards Retailers (Altech Netstar, Clicks, Coricraft, Incredible Connection, Makro, Tiger Wheel and Tyre).
No matter what rewards tier you are on, you also collect rewards points when filling up at participating Caltex forecourts when using your personal debit, cheque or credit card – R1 back in rewards points for every litre from now until 31 December 2013 (thereafter you will collect 20 cents per litre).
How to redeem your rewards pointsRewards points are allocated at the end of each month. Log on to the
UCount Rewards website to check your balance and statement. Once you have collected enough rewards points, you can choose exactly how you want to reward yourself.
Remember: 10 reward points = R1
To redeem your rewards points, swipe your UCount Rewards Card at Participating Rewards Retailers, Caltex fuel forecourts and at any Bidvest Premier Airport Lounge in South Africa. For your security you will be asked to enter your card PIN.
