Gone are the days of grey banking halls filled with uniformed staff. With the rapid changes in customer behaviour and demand, we are changing the way we do banking to bring innovative solutions and convenient banking to our younger customers.

Next-generation banking delivers on customer expectations and provides value-added services, seen with the opening of our new generation branches. These branches are in line with our philosophy of giving our customers a convenient, smart and enhanced banking experience. We have therefore started a journey of changing our branches, The latest branch of this kind being our new Standard Bank Neelsie Student Hub, recently opened in Stellenbosch.

This Student Hub is innovative and youthful, basically banking with an edge. It has been designed with a warm feel, kitted with two meeting rooms, free Wi-Fi connectivity and a coffee bar.  Our entire range of banking solutions is available at this Student Hub, which will also become a centre for processing youth solutions like student loan applications.

Customer needs have changed and through our new innovative branches, we are ushering in a new era of banking. As a banking partner, our approach is to meet our customers’ needs by creating a convenient and exciting banking experience for them.
