World Environment Day looks to our forests

Commemorated every year on 5 June, World Environment Day is one of the principal vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and action.

This year, in support of the UN International Year of Forests, the day is aimed to be the biggest, most widely celebrated global day for positive action on behalf of the environment.
