Credit card interest

Could someone kindly explain why is it such a mission to get your credit card interest rate? It used to be displayed on the credit card statement but lately for some odd reason it's no longer there.

I really don't feel like having to call the bank's call Centre to get such basic information. I have a loan with standard bank and can see the interest rate on the app, but nothing for the credit card, why all the secrecy?
