Credit card - send new one

Hi,

I was just wondering when you send new visa credit cards when they are about to expire? I work and live on a boat that moves constantly so I am worried closer to the time, I will not be in one location to receive the cards. I am currently based in America at one marina until February. Is it possible to send the cards now so I can receive them before I go to sea/Caribbean islands for months?
