I finally managed to get in contact with the bank via the call centre.
I was told that they are aware of this problem and that they are working on reversing these transactions.

I am having the same problem. Transactions processed twice

Standard bank has deducted all transactions I have done on my card over the weekend twice. I cannot get through to any of their telephone numbers, and no one is responding to my emails.
