Paying a Credit Card from Absa(Different Bank)

The best way to resolve this is to contact your bank and confirm if the details are linked to the correct code before transacting. Note, our universal code is: 051001.

I also need a response to this as alot of people have said the Account number for standard bank credit cards seems too long (as its just the credit card number). How does one trigger an EFT from a non-standard bank bank account?

Good day.

I created my Standard Bank Credit card as a beneficiary in my Absa Online Banking and it didn’t want to save the beneficiary. I then chose the option “Pay a Bill” and my Credit card details we’re accepted and a beneficiary was created but under a Standard Bank Institution code (0070004) and it was saved as SBSA card. Should i pay my Standard Bank Credit card this way??
