Possible scam calls

I have received a couple of calls now from a number +27 11 854 1143. They say they are from Standard Bank Card Division. They need to speak to me but need me to provide my ID number. When i ask them what this is about they say they can only tell me that when i give them my ID number. I refused. She then said i could contact card division directly to verify. She said she can give me the number. I said i had the number for card division and again asked what this was in connection with. Again she refused to say until i gave her my ID number. I then said to her that this sounded like a fraudulent scam call and that I would be reporting this. She said that was fine and hung up.
