Transfer missing

Hey I did a transfer from my credit card
Unfortunately it did not show money out but my balance changed.its not showing on my statement.went to the branch they had a difficult time finding what happened to the transfer until they called the receiver and receiver assured they received it consultant to consultant,it’s January and i have received a statement now stating they never received the payment,yet again my credit card doesnt reflect the transfer.why?
