Hello @mhofela,

 

Please be advised that changing from a blue to a gold card essentially means that you are switching from a debit to a cheque current account. This will require you to close your debit card and apply for a cheque card. The two cards have different account numbers in terms of the numbers allocated and therefore a consultant will need to assist you accordingly. Kindly note that you can apply for your elite cheque account on our portal making use of the following link: https://www.standardbank.co.za/southafrica/personal/products-and-services/bank-with-us/bank-accounts..., as consultant will then contact you within a period of 2 to 3 business days in order to assist with completing your application.

 

Once you've logged your application, you will receive confirmation and also a text to inform you when your card has been delivered to your chosen branch. fetching your card will require you to have your ID document and proof of residential address not older than 3 months.
