ATM cash deposits

I have an issue where I paid someone a deposit for goods,I tried doing an eft but it wouldn't go through. I then resorted to doing an ATM deposit, however I never received any of the goods I was paying for. The account holder is ignoring my calls. How do I now retrieve this money back? Because clearly,I won't get the goods as it's been a month already. I have all banking details and account number. Or how would I get a bank to give me further details about this individual,do I need to have a legal document that would allow the bank to give me address details of this person.
