I have been trying to cancel my current account since July 2017. Emails back and forth with no useful advice other than to post a letter - which I did a month ago. Last customer care person did not respond my last email. I am desperate as they are charging fees. (I had cancelled my account in May 2017 in person at the bank but cannot find proof, except for the zero balance on my account - to which other deductions were made! They then carried on charging overdraft fees as well as the normal fees.)
Please help. I am so dissapointed with the service and have gone from a zero balance to owing over R800.
