Speaking of passports, I remembered a funny situation of my youth. One of my friends bought himself a fake id, but it looked like a cheap imitation of an id, very weird. He bought it as he wanted to attend parties and various events 21+, however he didn't expect that could be easily caught. Indeed, he got caught very soon. As for me, I bought a qualitative florida fake id owing to the article I discovered on https://my21blog.com/ . Great article, besides, describes everything in details!

Hello @hkchisepo,

Kindly note that you should only be able to register for new Internet Banking and our app using your passport identification.

Please let me know should you require any further assistance.

Regarding the previous question, are you saying that it is impossible with Standard Bank to register for cellphone banking with your passport number if you are a foreign national (no SA ID)?

Thanks

Hi

We are aware of the Cape-Town municipality issue and are working to resolve it. Please use alternate methods of purchasing electricity until this matter has been resolved.

Kind regards,

Standard Bank

Can I use a passport no. to register for cellphone banking? I'd like to use it to buy prepaid electricity.

Internet banking or the app is currently useless to buy electricity in the Cape Town area (hasn't been working for last couple of weeks).
