Closing an account from outside South Africa

Good day.
I need to close my Standard Bank current account as it is no longer used or needed and yet still attracts banking fees.
I am not resident in SA so I cannot visit a branch or simply phone a call centre which I doubt would do any good anyway.
Can someone from Standard Bank please tell me how to close the account. I can be contacted at [email protected]
