Totally agree. In 2018 one should be able to pay and clear. If we can tap and go, why can't eft's be cleared immediately. Hey, they can even make more money by charging extra for this service. People would pay, without question, for the convenience factor.
It puzzles me that they just can't be bothered to implement something that ALL their clients want. Why are they not responding? Why don't they care about our experience??

I'm considering closing down my account and returning to FNB becasue quite frankly, they have so much better service and product offerings. Also, they have Pay & Clear (since 2010.....)

I know the Standard bank team have heard this time again but reality needs to kick in. This is not the 1920's, if one can "tap and go" for an item around the world then why should it take 24 hrs for an EFT amount to reflect even if the account holders utilize the same bank.

It really seems as though a Std Bank worker withdraws the money from one branch and deposits it into the other persons branch.....cause I don't see why there should be a delay, after all it's all computerized.

If Std Bank wants to be known for world class service then reaction time and services need to be jacked up. Taking the Lotto is not even an option on the App,

Either hire new software engineers or pay higher salaries to attract your competitors cause this service is questionable.
