Error: Please enter a valid beneficiary reference

Certain listed beneficiaries have a very specific check on the reference that is entered when paying.
E.g. when SARS there is a specific string. Confirm with the company you are paying on what reference must be utilized when paying via internet banking “listed” beneficiary.

I haven't received any feedback nor have I tried adding those beneficiaries again

I am also having the same issue. I assume that the reference cannot be a number?

Any feedback Standard Bank?

Hi, 

I have been trying to add new business beneficiaries for the past few days and I keep getting an error message "please enter a valid beneficiary reference". This happens on both the app and online banking. I have logged support calls on both platforms to no satisfaction.

Is anyone else having this issue and what else can I try?
