My card was changed in branch. Wasn't stolen or lost. After 3 years my card had started to degrade resulting in failed transactions. The shame of standing in a que and then the card would fail, happened to me time and again. So I applied for a new one. I was told it can only be done in branch so I had to do it that way. I still had to pay R145.00 for a new one and that surprise I only realised on my statement . I really don't think that is fair as R145 is payable for lost cards or damaged cards as a result of mishandling from the acc holder . I surely am not to blame for a poor quality card?
