PayPal only works one way with Standard Bank. You can only deposit funds into your PayPal account and cannot withdraw funds to credit your Standard Bank account.

How do I link my Standard Bank account onto PayPal. I do have my credit card linked for many years, but now I have money in my PayPal that I need to transfer into my Standard Bank account.

The only option I see is FNB bank and American bank.

Please I need help with this situation!!!

Kindly note that debit cards cannot be linked on Pay Pal.

Only cheque and credit cards can be linked by using the routine number 043000847.

Good day 

I have been struggling to link my standard bank debit card with my paypal acc 
when I enter the details of the card and proceed to the next process my card declines and a message to see my card issuer pops up

hello :)

i am getting the same error message - Your card was declined by the issuing bank. Please try a different card or contact your card issuer with questions. - when i try to link my Standard Bank card with my paypal account. i am aware that once linked/verified i can only withdraw funds to that account through my fnb online profile, which is fine... but how do i go about linking my card?

Hi @JeanChristie.

It does work.

The process is your account number needs to be 9 - 11 long digit.

By clicking link your account, then enter the routine number provided below and the account number.

Your account will need to be verified first; this means that the OTP will be sent to you.

The OTP will be sent to you in the next 2 -3 days, then you will be required to logging again and complete the registration process.

The credit card linking process is the same.

What error message are you getting on your end?

This advice does not help. 

To evrify my paypal account I need to link either a credit or cheque caard. 

It will not let me do either.  

Have gone through creatinga FNB online account so that I can link it. 

It shoudl not be this difficult.
