Slow Processing Of High value transaction

How many Days does one have to wait for a Transaction of high value to come through?Say from today.
And I'm having problems with banking app..it doesn't display transactions that were supposed to have reflected yesterday..Is the bank slow in Transactions or is the app a problem?
