The name of the bank itself is actually the answer to your question - it is just a standard bank, there is nothing special, excellent or amazing about it.

As a specialist in marketing communications, I recommend the bank rebrands as Meh Bank and adopts Smiley Indifferent as its brand spokesperson.

Dear Standard Bank, I just spoke to one of your consultants & I couldn't understand why intra-bank EFT should take 0-24 hours with no option for immediate clearance whereas EFT from other banks get that privilege? Especially if it's from an account that has made a transfer before. Don't you consider the fact that sometimes that transfer is for emergency? Like in my case, I need that money today, now. Most banks afford thier customers that option for immediate clearance, why can't you? This is such an inconvenience & unfair to your own customers. Am looking for a bank that can cater for my banking needs, Standard Bank is just inconsiderate.
