Please be advised that your brother will need to get either a debit or cheque card as the payment for the smart ID/passport will need to be made using the online banking platform which needs to have an active account. My brother in law would like to make use of e-Home Affairs in Std Bank Canal Walk but does not have a Std Bank. What type of account can he open, or can he open any account including savings?
