Hello, I'm about to buy my first apartment here in Singapore, so my question is  - does anybody knows how the insurance system works here, how much does it cost and what company should I contact? So my apartment is in a new build, which is still under construction - http://www.piermont-grand-ec.com.sg

Hello @Lwandile

Please be advised that your pipes and geyser are covered under the Homeowners Insurance policy  which also gives you cover for your home and its related structures (like garage, walls, gates and fences) and insures your property against fire, lightning and explosions, natural disasters, theft and more. Please visit to learn more:https://www.standardbank.co.za/southafrica/personal/products-and-services/insure-what-matters/your-h...

Kind Regards,

Mandy
