Pay Individual employees using Salary Payments

This article is for small businesses who use Standard Bank Internet Banking

 

Overview:

 

  • Pay individual employees.

 

Before you start:

 

Pay employees individually:

 

  1. In the Transact menu, select Salaries.
  2. On the side navigation menu select Payments.
  3. enter a payment name on the Payment Name.
  4. (optional) edit the pre-populated employee reference with a reference of your choosing
  5. Click Create Payment
  6. Use Search Bar to find employees you would like to pay
    • Use the Employees first or last name to search
  7. Enter the Payment Amount next to the Employee(s) you would like to pay
    • An employee with a Payment Amount of R0.00 will not be added to the payment
  8. Click Next.
  9. Check if all the Payment Details are correct.
  10. Click Confirm

 

Status

Description

Successful

Payment instruction process has concluded 

 Complete with errors

Payment instruction process has ended and there are error/s within the transactions

Unsuccessful

Payment instruction failed due to the account is locked, under fraud investigation, not allowed to be debited, etc.

Processing

Payment instruction is still being processed
