How do I open a FuneralPlan policy on the app?

You will find FuneralPlan in the ‘Explore’ menu, under the ‘Insurance’ category.

 

  • Select the individuals that you would like to include in your policy (yourself, your spouse, your children, or any other dependents)
  • You can select up to 5 children, up to 4 parents (including parents-in-law) and up to 2 other dependents
  • Scroll sideways to view the various FuneralPlan options, and select the one you prefer
  • All the details of the various dependents (name, surname, date-of-birth, and their relationship to you)
  • Add the details of the payout beneficiary (name, surname, date-of-birth). This does not need to be a family member
  • Choose the transactional account you would like to use for the debit orders (any transactional account that you have linked to the app)
  • Select ‘Next’ and check the details that are presented to you in the confirmation screen
  • Select ‘Buy’ to purchase the FuneralPlan
  • We will send a fulfilment pack within 21 days from day of purchase
