Hi. OK so in my case I did this and supplied the SWIFT and IBAN ... but it's now four days later and the money has still not landed in the UK. Please explain.

What are the fees for making international transfers?  If I make a deposit with an internation bank, what are the costs involved and how are the fees calculated?  I cannot seem to find this information on the website that explains this.  Thanks!

We get the same exact error on the app. We can do all other things through the app except the international payments. We've spend hundred of Rands on telephone calls to your contact centres and no-one has a clue what they're doing. Everyone just puts us through to the next person who has no clue what they're talking about! Yesterday we actually ended up in the Credit Control Department! HAHAHAHA.

 

Our latest reference number for this complaint is 7010220924

The numbers we've tried calling are 0860123000  &  0860123006  &  0860238837

 

The Service we have received thus far from Standard bank is shocking to the power 17. First we waited more than a month just for our card to arrive. Now that we have it, we can't make international payments, which is what we needed the account for.

 

We would never ever recomend Standard Bank to any of our friends or family.

Hi Tonykamwaro,

 

You can only make international payments from a personal current or personal savings account. You may not use an investment account, credit card or overdraft funds to make an international payment.

I'm experiencing the same issue. App doesn't give me the option to add new international recipient. 

 

Can support urgently help, please.

Dear STD Bank team,

i have a similar problem. 

I was told to go to add benefciary outside of SA ... I don't even see that option.

and I have to desperately make a payment.

i AM already outside of SA.

Hi SB - I have the same issue however after selecting "a beneficiary outside of South Africa" I get an error message saying an error has occoured. Please can you help as I really need to make payment into my UK account asap.

Hi,

 

Click on the transact icon on the top right or swipe the screen from the right to the left

-Select ‘Pay’

  • Select the menu item
  • select ‘Pay a new recipient’
  • Select ‘ A beneficiary outside South Africa’
  • Accept the Terms & Conditions
  • Select ‘Get started’ or ‘Next’
  • If all your personal details are correct, slide the switch to the right.
  • If the details are incorrect, select ‘These details are correct’ and visit your nearest branch to update personal details.
  • Select ‘Confirm’.

Hi There, 

 

I have updated to the latest version of the app, I see that some of the new features include the ability to make payments to international recipient's but I don't see any information on how to do this ? Nor am I able to add a beneficiary with an international bank account (i.e. Standard Bank Isle of Man) 

 

Where is the help on this topic ?, Where is the documentation on this new feature

 

Please provide the link to help topics on this ?
