Great question... these are some of the highlights:
- Biometrics… This is a great illustration of how we're leading the way in new digital technology. With the launch of Touch ID, we have become the first South African bank to enable customers to access their accounts with biometric fingerprint access. This is currently available to our customers using the iPhone 5s, 6 and 6+.
- Savings and Investment accounts… You can now open Savings and Investment accounts directly from the app. You can choose between two Savings accounts (PureSave and MarketLink) and four Investment accounts (Fixed Deposit, Call Deposit, Call Account, Notice Deposit). We’ve also added two new financial calculators designed to help you calculate how much you will need to save, to achieve your goals.
- Balance Peek for smartphones… Our unique Balance Peek feature allows you to quickly check account balances without having to actually sign in to the app. Having registered for Balance Peek, simply go to the logon screen, swipe the screen from right to left, and your account balances are immediately shown.
- Private clients… Enhancing the app’s Private Clients functionality gives our high net worth customers immediate access to their financial portfolios. The new features include domestic and international investments, trust and fiduciary solutions, risk management services, specialised lending services and a comprehensive set of transactional features.
