If the branch code is 25065500 then it is FNB and will reach the beneficiary of the account number is correct. This is the FNB “universal” branch code.

I am trying to add an FNB beneficiary via the Standard Bank App, but it seems that I cannot fill in the branch code or branch name of the specific FNB beneficiary. Branch name remains as "All branches" and the code remains locked in some random number. I can only change the account number and the name of the recipient. Will the recipient still be able to receive the transfer if I decide to go ahead with the transaction?
Why can we not change the branch name or the branch code via the App? It is a bit pointless to give to an "Add Beneficiary" option on the app if you can't actually do it properly and have to risk your transfer going into some other unintended account.
