Hello @leeroymeyer,

As we have advised previously Lee, this feature is at the testing stages currently and we will confirm the release date with you as soon as we have it.

Apologies for any delays in this.

Regards,

Hi.
I see this post is 2 years old. Surely it cannot not this long for the feature to become available for android users as well?

Hi bekbarnard

To use Touch ID (Fingerprint auth) on the iOS version of the app you need to do the following:

1. Enable Touch ID Auth in IOS

  1. Open Settings (OS settings)
  2. Select "Touch ID & Passcode" option
  3. Follow the steps to "enrol" one of your fingerprints for use as authentication on the device

2 Enable Touch ID Auth in the Standard Bank banking app

  1. Log into the app using your username and password
  2. The app will then prompt you to choose if you'd like to use Touch ID for authentication in the app.

Hi

Biometrics is the technology that we currently use to enable our customers to use their finger prints to access our Banking App. This feature is currently only available to I-Phone users but will be made available to Android users in the near future.

Regards,

Standard Bank
