Please 3.5Billion Rand is nothing to Sasol. Anyway, that will just be passed onto the consumer as price increases.

Well, the fine's going to be contested so who know's what may happen. Anyway, if guilty Sol has lots in reserve so it may be short term cash pain. This is an overall healthy company so it's a safe bet!!!

SOL on its balance sheet did not mention of any contigent liabilities that means it was unplanned, so going forward i think SOL will take a nose dive if the appeal fails

Don't look at it that way. See what happened to TBS. They had to fork out millions in fines but look at their share price today!! I think that Sol has a bright future and will continue to buy in dips. As it's your money, only you can decide but don't let these blips put you off. Long term you will be happy.
