I'm just interested in what percentage of people regard themselves as the following: 1.) An investor or a trader? 2.) More interested in Value versus Growth? 3.) Use technical analysis or use fundamental analysis? 4.)...or use something else? 5.) What percentage of equity makes up your portfolio versus what percentage of options, warrants, futures, and bonds? 6.) Follow a trusted broker/friend/website's recommendations versus makes all decisions on your own? 7.) Have been investing/trading for longer than 3 years? I think we would all gain if everyone answered this informal poll, so I'll start: 1.) Investor 2.) Equally interested, but prefer Value, as safer 3.) Fundamental Analysis 4.) n/a 5.) 100% equity 6.) Make all decisions on my own 7.) Yes, I''ve been investing longer than 3 years.

Not sure I will answer in order but here goes Investor who trades when I see an opportunity,Prefer fundamental analysis but look at trends,Value determined first, make my own decisions after researching other opinions,my investments are wide spread,property-overseas and here, equities say 50% ish and moving more into cash as market gets a bit expensive-do not touch derivatives-no stomach for it-been investing 20 years plus.
