It will be interesting to see how it effects GLD

I expect gold to correlate with expectations of dollar (NYBOT: DX)whereas platinum to correlate with expectations for global vehicle sales. Some metal ETF's have been causing notional rather than physical metal purchases (eg SLV)and thereby don't impact the price like physical purchase would.
