So what are the thoughts on the business model? Seems to offer a viable opportunity. Could reach a plateau once coverage is obtained.

My 2c worth. Dont really see the point. Medical aids are now only paying a certain amount for small procedures. Many private hospitals now have dedicated short stay wards which are very succesful. These day surgical units are popular and all the big boys have these day wards. Its easy for them to open a few more if government looks to the private sector to fulfill nhi backlogs.
